Dr. C. “Joe” Kappes has lived in Augusta since 1997, is married and has six children. His professional education includes his Medical Doctorate from the Medical College of Ga, here in Augusta, and a specialty in Pediatrics from Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City, Tennessee. Dr. Kappes is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has been involved in local and foreign mission work and with the youth at his church. He has special interest in Newborns, Asthma, Sports Medicine and ADHD/Mental Health. When relaxing you can find Dr. Kappes in the mountains, at the beach or reading a book.

Dr. Daniel Allen grew up in the small town of Colquitt, GA on his family's farm. He then attended Georgia Southern University where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. At that time, he moved to Augusta to attend the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, graduating with his Doctor of Medicine in 2020. Staying local, he completed his pediatric residency training at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University/Children's Hospital of Georgia (CHOG) in June 2023 and then joined CPAM in July 2023.
Dr. Allen is board-eligible and will be taking his pediatric board exam in October 2023. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and he is also involved in community advocacy and education, teaching multiple classes at Augusta Care Pregnancy. He also volunteers annually at Camp Rainbow, a camp for children with cancer and their siblings, as well as other camps for children with other conditions.
In his personal life, Dr. Allen has several hobbies; he enjoys several sports, including tennis, pickleball, and archery, spending time with his dog, Athena, and catching up on the latest TV shows, movies, and video games. He also really enjoys cooking, earning the honorary title of "Dr. Grilled Cheese" at CHOG. Dr. Allen is very active with Abilene Baptist Church as well, being involved in the church orchestra playing alto saxophone and serving as a co-teacher for his Sunday school class.

Julie has lived in Augusta since 2000. She is married and has six children and six grandchildren. Her professional education includes a Master of Nursing from the Medical College of Georgia and the KySS Mental Health fellowship for Children and Adolescents. She is Board Certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Pediatric Mental Health Specialist. She has focus a focus on behavioral health needs in the pediatric population.
