The teenage years are full of changes, both physically, mentally, emotionally, and even spiritually. Throughout this time, your child is integrating themselves into a world that is bigger than they are. Their brains are changing, hormones are starting to build, their bodies begin going through puberty, peer pressure and increased independence lead to their own new challenges; all these things can make these years some of the most challenging for your child. We are here to help you and your child navigate this process. Routine screening for depression, continued hearing and vision testing, routine labs to assess for anemia and cholesterol issues as well as routine screening for certain infections, and a new set of vaccines to help safeguard your children against diseases such as a variety of cancers and meningitis are common during this age. We are also here to help address other concerns that you or your teenager may have!
