Once your child hits that first birthday, it’s toddler time. From then through the age of three, your child will be changing so much in a short amount of time; language skills develop, they begin interacting with the world around them and become curious about everything, social habits begin to take form, and their personality really starts to shine. This also comes with a sense of increased autonomy, wanting to be in control, and strong wills. When you come for your child’s well-child visits during this time, our providers will help guide you through this important stage of life, providing tips for temper tantrums, sleep difficulties, toilet training, and other concerns you may have. During this age range, we are also screening your child for problems with development as well as autism as well as providing some new vaccinations against deadly diseases such as measles.
